02 : Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Tapkeshwar shrine is situated out side of the Dehradun city. The sacred temple is positioned just 5.5 kilo meters from the city centre. The temple is can be viewed on the banks of a seasonal river. The dome is devoted to the Lord Shiva the Hindus God.

The name of the temple is a derivation of a hindi word “Tapak”, which stands for “to drip”. There is a shivling inside the cave which water naturally drips on from its roof.

03 : Robbers Cave
